Vegan Avocado Chocolate Mousse Recipe

This mousse is silkier than 1000 thread count sheets. And there’s chocolate… If you’re not sold yet, keep reading. We ditched the heavy cream and eggs for avocado, so it’s completely vegan. There’s no refined sugar and no processed ingredients. Just smooth, chocolatey heaven. You mousse try it.

Servings: 2-4
  • ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 medium avocados
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 3 tbsp milk of your choice
  • kosher or flakey sea salt
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • a dash of cinnamon
  1. In a small, microwave safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips for one minute, stirring at 30 seconds.
  2. Grab your food processor and add avocados, melted chocolate, vanilla extract, maple syrup, milk of your choice, and a pinch of salt. Sift the cocoa powder straight into the processor.
  3. Process the ingredients on high for about 3-4 minutes, then run the spatula about halfway down the side to scrape the mousse into the processor bowl.
  4. To serve, portion into individual bowls and dust with salt and cinnamon. Cover and refrigerate for one hour before serving.
